He regularly writes columns in Times of India and also has written many articles and career columns in Malayala Manorama daily . PRV also writes articles in “Vanitha “ and Smart Family .
PRV appears everyday in Amrita TV in Vidyabyasa Vartha & answers career questions of students & parents . He also speaks on FM All India Radio, Cochin, on all 365 days in a branded program “ ENTHUPADIKANAM ENTHAGANAM ‘for the last 5 years.
PRV is nominated as the National counselor by Educational Times and he answers 200 queries in a week. He has published 6 text books and many scientific articles. He is a former Head & Professor of Zoology in Mahathma Gandhi University . He has taken his PhD from Cochin University of Science & Technology.

Prior to Civil Service
Worked in MRF as Technical Officer. Later resigned and joined for Civil Service preparations at Delhi. Later on joined as lecturer in Civil Service Institute Pala under St Thomas College. Also worked as Guest Lecturer in various Civil Service academies in and around Kerala.
Written and published a book named GS Capsules for Civil Service Aspirants in 2013.
Major Breakthrough Programmes
Made Sirvani Forest Tribal Area in Coimbatore Postal Division the country’s first 100% Sukanya Samridhi Yojana covered area for girl children. Designed and implemented a unique venture “Kutty Tapal”, a first of its kind in the country, helping children to notify the District Police Chief, Kottayam about their own/public grievances by writing a postcard . Around 5000 children have so far responded by bringing up various issues in which either they are directly or the society is affected. The childrens’ identities are kept kept secret. A nodal Postal Officer and a nodal Police Officerare currently implementing it. It has grabbed a National level attention. Also initiated Mobile Cash Exchange counter during the the Demonetisation Drive in the country, concentrating in and around hospitals in Kottayam town to help the people there to exchange their old WOS notes with the new ones. A national level appreciation has been received for this effort.
